INTRODUCING NEW BOARD MEMBER
SARAH GOLDSMITH

Influenced by a fortune cookie and Tales of the City, I moved to San Francisco in 2020. Frustrated with my life in Philly during the pandemic, I packed my pug and headed for the Golden Gate, a city I had never visited but trusted to be the liberated metropolis I needed. My bet on The Bay paid off—I found meaningful work, joined a community, and fell head over heels for North Beach.
I am passionate about how we convene our community through events and how we advocate for our neighborhood in this moment of deregulation and rising inequity across our city. I’ve deeply enjoyed connecting with neighbors over upzoning, whether it’s through community forums, giving public comment at City Hall, or just chatting in line at Molinari’s.
I work as a program manager in the nonprofit sector and am excited to use my project management skills as a board member. My partner Matt and I live on the west side of Telegraph Hill with our pug-mix Reggie. Please say hello if you see us on a walk!
